Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate sources for trucks, trailers, marine assets and equipment
- Request and compare quotes, and negotiate pricing and terms
- Verify documentation, condition reports and ownership records before purchase
- Maintain supplier relationships and records of purchases
- Work with sales to source assets that match customer requests
Required qualifications
- Experience in procurement, purchasing or sourcing
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- High attention to detail with documentation
Preferred qualifications
- Experience buying commercial vehicles, boats or heavy equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field
